When a Car Drove Into the Store
A driver had a seizure and drove into one of the grocery stores our crew maintains. Nobody planned for it, and the floor was left with tire streaks burned across the sales floor where the car spun.

What Floor Refinishing Actually Involves
Refinishing is not mopping. It is stripping the old finish down, neutralizing and rinsing the surface, then laying down new coats of finish and letting each one cure. Done right, the floor is protected again and the next year of scuffs land on the finish instead of the tile or concrete underneath.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should a commercial floor be refinished?
It depends on traffic. A busy grocery or convenience store entry may need a full strip and refinish annually with buffing in between, while a low-traffic office can go two years or more. We would rather look at the floor and tell you honestly than sell you a cycle you do not need.
Can you refinish concrete, or only VCT tile?
Both. The McKinleyville job above is concrete. Untreated concrete dusts and absorbs spills; cleaned and sealed properly it handles retail traffic well.
Do you work after hours so we do not have to close?
Yes. Most of our floor work happens overnight or on weekends so the business opens on a finished floor. Finish needs time to cure, so we schedule around your hours, not the other way around.
Do you handle emergency floor damage?
