This Privacy Policy explains how A-1 Cleaning Service, LLC (“A-1,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit a1clean.net (the “Website”), use the booking, quote, and chat tools linked from it, or contact us. It replaces our earlier policy, which was posted in December 2019.

By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Website. You can still reach us by phone at (707) 442-3229.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, book a service, use the chat window, call, text, or email us, or buy a gift card, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, service address, details about the property and the service you want, and anything else you choose to include. Payment card information is entered on our payment processors’ secure forms. We do not store full card numbers on the Website.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, your browser and the tools described in Section 3 may automatically collect:

  • your IP address and approximate location (city or region) derived from it;
  • your browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size;
  • the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit;
  • identifiers stored in cookies, pixels, or similar technologies.

Information from others. We may receive information about you from review platforms, referral sources, and the service providers listed in Section 3.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Website is not directed to children.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and perform services, and send invoices and receipts;
  • communicate with you about appointments, service, and your account;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Website, including preventing spam and fraud;
  • understand how visitors use the Website (analytics);
  • request and display customer reviews;
  • comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights and the safety of our customers, employees, and others.

3. Cookies, pixels, and third-party tools

The Website uses cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies, including technologies provided by third parties. When you load a page or click a button, these technologies may send information about your visit (described in Section 1) directly from your browser to those third parties, who may combine it with information they already have about you and use it under their own privacy policies. Some of these providers may collect information about your online activity over time and across other websites.

This list can change. We will update it when we add or remove a tool that collects information from visitors.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or use an ad-blocking or tracking-protection tool. Some features of the Website may not work if you block cookies.

4. “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. The Website does not currently respond to these signals, and the third-party tools described above may continue to collect information when a signal is sent. Use the choices in Section 3 instead.

5. How we share information

We share information:

  • with the service providers listed in Section 3 and others who help us run our business (for example, scheduling, payment processing, accounting, email, hosting, and IT support);
  • with the analytics and website-tool providers described in Section 3;
  • with our employees and subcontractors who need it to perform your service;
  • if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others;
  • in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of all or part of our business.

We do not sell your name, phone number, email address, or service address to anyone for money. We do not currently use third-party advertising or remarketing tools on the Website. If we add them, we will update this Policy first.

6. How long we keep information

We keep customer and service records for as long as needed to provide services and as required for tax, accounting, insurance, and legal purposes. We keep website and analytics data according to our providers’ retention settings.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for the information we hold. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us.

8. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may ask us what personal information we have collected about you and ask us to correct or delete it, subject to exceptions the law allows. Under California Civil Code § 1798.83 (“Shine the Light”), you may also ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing in the prior calendar year.

To make a request, email FrontDesk@a1clean.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or call (707) 442-3229 and say you are making a privacy request. We will need to verify your identity before acting. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

9. Links to other websites

The Website links to other websites and social media pages. Their privacy practices are their own, and this Policy does not apply to them.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will also post a notice on the Website’s home page for at least 30 days. Changes take effect when they are posted.
